In the Garmin Jr app (using iOS) if you tap the Challenges tab, then tap the "Toe-to-Toe Challenges" line, you're presented with a screen that has a "Learn More" button. You then tap the "Learn More" button and are presented with a page of text which has a "Get the ConnectIQ App" at the bottom.
You then tap this link while having the ConnectIQ Store app installed on the phone and the ConnectIQ Store app launches to load the store page for this toe-to-toe challenge app.
The store page in the ConnectIQ app says "Server Connection Error: We're having problems connecting to the Garmin Connect server. Try again" and you see a "Retry" button which always results in the same error when you tap it.
I know there's no network problem because I can view and download other apps in the ConnectIQ Store, so it seems as though this "toe-to-toe challenge" app was either removed from the store or the storefront is broken.
This is not exactly a high priority feature for me, but it does look very broken and it is rather curious as to why something is broken like this.
In summary, to reproduce this problem:
- Have Garmin Jr and ConnectIQ apps both installed on an iOS device.
- Launch Garmin Jr
- Tap the "Challenges" tab button at the bottom.
- Tap "Toe-toToe Challenges"
- Tap "Learn More"
- Tap "Get the ConnectIQ App"
- The ConnectIQ store app launches with an error page.
- Tap "Retry"
- Same error page always appears.
Searching for stuff like "Toe" or "Toe-To-Toe" or "garmin jr" also doesn't show any results for anything like this.
