Our kids get out of school at different times on some days of the week, so we really need to be able to set a different schedule for school ending on some days.
Not every place in the world has a fixed schedule for school every day of the week, and there are other reasons why this feature is needed. For example, perhaps some kids have school start and end at the same time every day during the week, but they have some sort of tutoring or activity on tuesday and thursday immediately after school and so the "school mode" should stay on longer.
Product needs a bunch of little improvements like this. Garmin needs better communication with the public, such as stating what sort of features they consider to be a priority right now.
Also, that "expedition around the world" stuff is completely useless, especially when kids don't have phones or tablets. Nobody in reality is going to buy a kids watch for stuff like that. All the time needed to write that code could have been much better spent on features that customers do want.
