I was advised to remove the product from the Garmin app and Bluetooth and reinstall. Didn’t resolve. Waiting for a response from Garmin as was escalated to an engineer for advice or possible product replacement.
My messages seem to take over 5 minutes to reach the Bounce from the app. However, when messages sent through the Bounce to the app it is almost instantaneous. Very frustrating.
I am also having this issue and wonder if anyone has found a solution or an explanation from Garmin?
It seems to be working as expected today. Messages are going through quickly, but will be concerning if the delay is happening frequently.
I just connected my son’s watch for the first time. Very disappointing.
We are having the same issue with a brand new Bounce with the latest firmware update. The bounce sends messages just fine to all phones that are connected in the family. The app sends messages, but they are only received on other phones in the family, not on the Bounce. Sometimes, if I restart my phone, the messages will then be received by the Bounce. We will give it a couple of days, otherwise it's going back and I'll request a refund for the $100 a year subscription. If it were an adult watch, I might be more inclined to mess around with it, but my son is losing interest in wearing a device that doesn't work as advertised...
Also having this issue. We have two watches for our two boys. One watch works great the other takes 45 min - 1hour to receive a message from the app, or for the app to get a location update on that watch.
