Not receiving notifications- Android

I received two Bounce watches, set everything up but I never receive notifications through the Garming Jr app when my kids message me. My notifications are all selected as on but I don't get anything.

Help please so I can actually use the watches as intended.

All my notifications are already selected. It has something to do with the watches don't sync with the app all the time. When my kids message me, I don't get it as soon as I should.
