Messages not appearing until you close and reopen, livetrack rarely works and often shows location an hour old, no notifications of messages received.

My son has a Garmin Bounce and we just bought the one year plan.... When he sends or responds to messages the only way that I notice is if I open the app, open the "Connect" button, close the "Connect" section and then reopen. This is has led me to miss time sensitive messages about picking my son up early. Really making the use case of the watch worthless. Further when I go to "Livetrack" it often spins and spins without ever indicating the actual location of my son. Often the "Last updated" time is 45-60 mins old.

Thank you for replying, nice to know someone reads this forum.

That being said, this is not an acceptable solution. Whenever my child is at an event or away from home do i need to look at my phone every 3 minutes and open and close the app, that is not what i paid for.

We got the Bounce this week and now we're trying to troubleshoot the same problem. Have you found a solution yet? I'll even take a notification at this point, but that is not working for messages.

Unfortunately no, they had me mail back in the watch, which I honestly have no faith will change anything. I think it is a baked in software bug. I have to wait for them to receive the watch before they mail me a new one. I've had to let my child take my cell phone to camp because they are without a watch and they do not have consistent end times. Really a drag, I'm regretting this purchase.

It’s working great now since we turned off kid mode.
