Bounce 2 Not Transferring Activities to Garmin Jr.

Bought our daughter the new Bounce 2 mainly for her run training as she is currently training for a 10k, plus we liked the call and text options. After the first day of using it to track a run and her swim, which it transferred no issue, it stopped transferring her activities. It is still in the watch history. I was on chat with Garmin for an eternity but nothing seemed to fix it. Reset all the things, hard restarted all the things, connected and disconnected all the things, updated all the software, and finally got a test activity to work so we thought it was good. Then today the real test, did our training run, saved the activity, can see it on her watch history, and it won't transfer to the app. It let us know when she started the activity, but not when it ended or saved it. I am at my wits end as since it is connected to Garmin Jr it won't synch through the Garmin Express app on the computer and there is no way to force the transfer or even transfer the activity file. If anyone has any ideas at all we will take them. Also again with Garmin support we went through all the usual troubleshooting tips for a watch that won't synch and I tried it again just incase. 

  • Based on the steps you have walked through with support, and what you mentioned here I recommend removing the device from the app and your mobile devices Bluetooth. Once completed restore the defaults on the Bounce 2:

    NOTE: Resetting the watch also clears all data, such as activities. You should sync the watch with the Garmin Jr. app to upload activity data before you reset the watch.
    1. From the Garmin Jr. app, select Home.
    2. Select your child.
    3. Select Settings > Device details > Remotely reset Bounce 2 > Reset now > Reset.

    If the issue persists after getting the device set back up on the Garmin Jr. app please reach back out to support as your device will need to be replaced.
