Question Varia Rearvue 820 same speed detection

Maybe someone already had the possibilty to test. Since the same speed detection is now more sensitive than before, does the radar alert if you ride with multiple people. Lets say you ride with 1 or 2 people and they ride behind you at the same speed. Will the radar alert about that?

    Yes you'll see them showing as bikes staying behind you. Something two people riding closely side by side will show as a care though.

    I rode in a group today and it is utterly horrible, I had a permanent warning on my computer throughout the ride as a warning of a cyclist behind me, well of course there is, I'm in a peloton, the old 515 did not have this issue, considering I do most of my riding in groups this is a big problem, as the issue isn't just my computer screen having the radar warning all the time, the light is constantly flashing the people behind me in the group.  I have reported this to Garmin

    Thanks for your details. Thats what i was worried about. Thats also a big deal breaker for me.

    Its Peloton mode not working properly, apparently your actually in individual mode, Im sure Garmin will have this fixed really fast.
