Why does it take so long for Garmin to ship orders from Sydney?

I’m trying to figure out why it takes more than 2 business days before a tracking number and beginning the shipping process for a Varia Radar RTL 515? 
After multiple calls asking what’s holding things up only to get the standard 1-2 warehouse processing time (now 2-3 days, based on the latest excuse). The sales team seem to have no way, or are unwilling, to follow up why order processing is delayed. There’s no option to pay for express postage either. 
Garmin need to do more for loyal customers who have bought many of their products over the years, lest they switch brands for any cycling products in the future.

Allowing 8 days to get an item from Syd to Melb does not seem unreasonable in 2025, based on other online retail experiences.

    Our forums are not the best support channel for assistance with orders, and this is made even more difficult given your location. We do not have global coverage for forums support and the North American team has less access to up date stock information than your local support team. Please continue working with your local support team to see if there is anything hanging this order up, or if there is anything that can be done to push this through more quickly.
