RTL 515 replacement coming?

I see that the RTL 515 is now discounted on the U.S. site from $199 to $149. Could this mean a replacement is finally coming?

Of course I expect a USB-C connector, but other updates would be nice.

    My RTL510 is pretty old now, and the battery gets me around 8 hours.  I have a long ride later in the year, and would be good if I didn't need to take a charger.  I'm hoping a new USB-C powered Varia is coming before then with a longer battery life.  If not, there seems to be more and more competitors on the market with decent battery life.  Come on Garmin, lets see a new Varia soon please....

    Discounts are no indication of anything imminent.  They do them all the time. 

    That said, a replacement Varia is overdue.  It may have been delayed by tarriff uncertrainty so hopefully will drop soon. Varia fan, DC Rainmaker, has given up waiting though and is going to the Wahoo equivalent due to the lack of USB-C.
