Read a lot of stuff online, searching for weeks on and off. Added, subtracted the sensor from Radar and added to Light or whatever , chanted, prayed......
Can not find the secret incantation to get my RTL515 Version ???.??? to Version 3.36 my sensor id is 1041349
HOLY crap!!! WHILE I AM TYPING THIS?????? I have tried this over 15 plus times in the last 2 months with my Edge Explorer 2 and this Radar. I was going nuts and out of desperation was entering this message..........
I got the Edge Explorer GPS and the radar light so I could type in the OLD version for the above......and I am flabbergasted the dumb thing has moved off of 0 and FAILING and it now has a 28 and is UPDATING????
Could this be for REAL????? 15 to 20 times, simply lost count.....
WTF its finally at least trying to update.........oh boy on 37 (have no idea what it means its not seconds since its been a few minutes maybe % done???? who knows?.........)
OK will wait to see what happens and close this out. Looks like even a BLIND SQUIRREL finds a nut??

So mark this as solved......just keep trying and trying every time you ride, inside your house, at your desk, unlink the sensore and RE-add it a few times and keep trying......eventually when you finally GIVE UP and find a place on the Garmin site...it will just work??
Garmin: PLEASE DON'T put out another update for a few years please???
