Varia 515 connect to two units for tandem riding?

My wife and I both have Garmin Edge computers on our tandem.

Would we be able to install one Varia 515 on the rear seatpost, and have it connected to both our head units?

It would make it easier for both riders to be aware of approaching/passing cars.

    For sure it’s possible to connect the radar to several units (watch and edge for example). But I never tried doing it at the same time. 
    I think the radar data is only broadcasted and no problem to receive on several head units at once, the tricky part will be the light network. I imagine you will have to disable the light network on one device.

    I’ve done this. A friend without a Varia wanted to see how it would work with an older Edge 800.  I had him pair his Edge and he rode and we rode together.  Worked fine.
