Mount RTL515

Hi,

I find the standard Garmin mounting solution for the RTL515 not good at all.

I tried the Varia seat-post mount (https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/521461) but this is also bad designed. The screw touched my leg when pedaling.

Anyone find a better solution?

I did come across this solution, which seems to be well designed, but is a bit pricey:

I use this on one of my bikes. Definitely better than the Garmin mount.

Seems to be having the same design flaw as the Garmin version. The clamp screw is on the side, which makes it touch the leg.

Don't understand why they don't design the clamp screw at a 180 deg angle from the mounting plate instead of at 90 deg.

I use saddle rail mounts on all my bikes, works great with dropper posts on MTB and seatpost mounted rear fender on the gravel bike.

Not possible when using a Specialized saddle with a SWAT saddle bag.
