I have been using my varia light on one of my bikes for quite some time. I have it paired to my Garmin 1000 and have a mount in portrait mode and it works perfectly. I Have another bike I ride and the mount is in landscape mode. I went into settings to adjust the display to landscape and noticed that the varia has no visual alerts for cars? Does the radar only work when the Garmin 1000 is in portrait mode?
