Garmin Express Attempting to Downgrade Varia RTL515 from 3.34 to 3.27

I have the same problem, Garmin support said it was a Garmin  problem and to delete/ re install Garmin Express but it made no difference. Not sure what to do next as support did not suggest anything

3.27 seemed more reliable for me.  

That’s my problem- it won’t install for some reason as support don’t have an answer why

So there are two software components on the RTL.

One is the system control and the other is the radar. They have separate software bundles to update them.

I'm wondering if one of the bundles did not install correctly.

The system is at 3.34 and the Radar is at 3.27.

So it sounds like the Radar update did not get applied correctly.

I presume you just load these files into the correct directories and then power cycle the device??

Have tried this and it made no difference. I think it’s a problem with Garmin Express on my Mac ( even though I have followed the instructions to de instill/ re installl the software.if I use a windows PC I don’t get the option to install the 3.27 software. Is there anywhere to check if software is correctly installed on the Varia??

Thanks- have checked and the device is running the updated software ,as I suspected the problem is with Garmin Express not reporting correctly .Hopefully will be fixed in future update
