Right, but I don't need a modal warning that I manually have to clear ten times per two hour ride. Maybe just a special beep or something? Or just wait three seconds before showing the disconnectio…

The 0:9 errors are a product of the ever increasing use of driver aids on cars, which also have a radar component. The signals from these devices overwhelm & disrupt the signals that the Varia considers…

I keep emailing support screenshots of the error. They still refuse to adjust the firmware to remove the modal error off the main screen.

The 0:9 errors are a product of the ever increasing use of driver aids on cars, which also have a radar component. The signals from these devices overwhelm & disrupt the signals that the Varia considers normal causing the error.

As well as driver aids other things like radar controlled traffic signals & even motion sensors on home security systems if the emitters are pointing a bit wayward. I've even had the signals disrupted by emf interference from high voltage underground cables

I get that part of the charm of using a Garmin Edge is that the UI looks like the controls for a Soviet-era tank. I love that it's 2024 and they haven't implement a QWERTY keyboard yet. I can ignore that for the most part. But what I can't ignore is a modal warning every fifteen to thirty minutes.
