What for? Who needs vibration each time when the car is passing you by?

That would be a function of the watch and not the radar. The radar informs the device that a vehicle is detected. It is up to the device what it does with that information.

I find this to be an essential feature.  I can't hear my Edge 830's warning beeps (I'm oldish ) so I appreciate the haptic feedback on my watch as a warning.

But the main question is if garmin will release a new Varia in the near future? 

clearly, then why this is mentioned as varia improvements :-)
