Where is the radar signal eminating from on the 515? Would a protective cover block or diminish the signal? Is the radar signal in the light area or elsewhere?

515 Radar Signal - Eminate from where?

Where is the radar signal eminating from on the 515? Would a protective cover block or diminish the signal? Is the radar signal in the light area or elsewhere?

The antenna is placed vertically below the light. A protective cover - depending on its thickness and material - might impact the radar's performance.
