Garmin Varia RTL 515 USB C

Is there any news on the a Garmin Varia RTL unit that has a USB C charging port. Or are they gonna keep the 1990 micro usb charging port ?

Realy like to buy the light/radar but I'm trying to get rid of all the micro usb things in the house!

The RCT715 uses USB-C, but you are paying more to get a camera combined with the radar.

Seems like the Magene L508 is a good alternative option. Cheaper and USB C

I've given up waiting and use a USB-C to Micro USB adaptor that is tied to the end of the USB-C cable. Charges faster this way too.

That law only applies to new product launches. Existing products don't have to be changed. Also, I believe it forces the use of a standard port, being USB. I'm not sure it explicitly states using USB type C.

I have given up waiting, for garmin is usb c just not priority, people are buying outdated lights anyway:-(
