Battery replacement

Hi all

There are several posts dotted around but nothing definitive. I am getting low battery life warnings much earlier than I used to so started wondering is it possible to switch out the battery for a new one on the Varia RTL515.

Any links, information or messages of support is appreciated.

The biggest concern is obviously damaging the case or losing the waterproofness.

oh that looks tricky. I may well just keep it going as long as I can.

You could connect an external power source to it. I've done that with RCT715 to extend the life for long events.

do you have any information on a replacement battery for the varia rtl 510e mine after 3 years no longer holds a charge my 950 w battery is not compatible

no I do not. Initially I was trying to see if it's possible to change, but yes I also need information on what battery and where to buy.
