Varia RTL515 on Smartphone (IOS) using Komoot

Please do not kill me if subject been already explored: I am planning to buy Varia RTL515 and using on smartphone(iOS) Based on rainmaker review there is app RideWithGPS but he is not mentioning is not free :) and I would like to use with KOMOOT (I payed few regions), is it possible to have KOMOOT run navigation together on left/right the varia radar enabled? Why I will not use dedicated Garmin bike computer? Bcs too many connectivity problems…www.dcrainmaker.com/.../garmin-rtl515-rvr315-cycling-radar-review.html

komoot doesn't support radar and I have no idea if the garmin varia app can run as an overlay (is it possible on ios? :D). Basically only RWG supports radar and Locus Map (android only, silver subscription is needed)..so it is in your hands.
