UT800 light

My UT800 light when in auto mode at night constantly turns on and off. It works fine during the day on flash mode. I have it paired with a 530.

I have a similar issue with a UT800 and Edge 1030. The light randomly fluctuates between high and low brightness. This is not caused by other light sources as it happens in completely unlit areas too.

Could it be that you are passing under a light source such as an overhead street light when it turns off. I'm thinking that maybe the light sensor on the Edge thinks it is light enough to not need the light on.

It never use to happen before with edge 130 however I do notice it more if battery light is low on power. When it works it's great!

The 130 does not have a light sensor and the 530 does. Hence the question.

The Edge 130 is compatible with Varia lights.

I had a similar problem with the 830 + UT800. Turning off the headlight Auto Beam adjustment fixed the issue. The Auto Beam adjustment on the 830 is available when the lights are connected, it can be found >Sensors>lights>network options>Auto Beam adjustment (under headlight)
