Varia RTL510 Wont Shut Off

My Varia is stuck in pairing mode and I'm unable to shut if off with the 2 second press or am I able to reset the Varia by holding the button down for 8 seconds. I am able to control the device with my Garmin 830 and able to switch between flash/solid/off. I just can't shut the Varia off entirely. I suspect the button is broken. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hi Mattu1665! Please try cleaning the button by rinsing with water and mild soap (with the USB cover closed) or using rubbing alcohol and a cotton swap to wipe the base of the button.

Thank you! The rubbing alcohol with the Q-Tip trick worked. It took a couple applications, but eventually loosened up whatever was interfering with the switch.
