What is the full procedure for resetting an RTL515 so that it essentially goes back to the out-of-the-box state? The doc says something like hold the button down for 8 seconds, but this doesn't seem to quite be working for me. Can this be done?
I unpaired the RTL from my 1030+ and turned the RTL "off" so that no LEDs were flashing. I didn't want to try the pairing thing again and started off on a ride with the RTL515 mounted to the bike, not paired, and (I thought) off. So I was really surprised when my riding partner told me that my light was flashing. I stopped and turned it off by holding the button in until I saw the LED flash and go off again, but as soon as I started riding it started flashing! It did not pair with the 1030+ -- the radar was not active and no light netword was formed. WTF??
