When will there be a new version of varia radar 515?

Your multiple posts about your problem are not going to solve it. If your car's warranty was over, would you expect the car manufacturer to cover a repair? 

Overall, I've had very few problems with Garmin products.  I don't agree with your bad build quality statement.

In case you missed it, please see my reply on your other post -  Varia RTL515 won’t stay on. Was repeatedly disconnecting, now won’t even stay on longer than 4 secs it’s fully charged. I’ve deleted it, reset it x times

Maybe take up your issue with BikeTiresDirect, where you bought it? As an individual you might not have much clout with Garmin, especially knowing you were buying a reconditioned unit. But BikeTiresDirect might be a major account and not want customers unhappy with their purchases. It's also possible that BikeTiresDirect makes a killer margin on refurb sales and can afford to deal with it themselves.

I was in the same boat, The 515 didn't offer anything to make me want to upgrade my 510 & the 715 has too many compromises & a bad implementation of what could have been a desirable product. Like you say; maybe a couple of generations of development may make it more appealing 

We have to wait for next version :D Anyway, an upgraded 515 with usb-c and quick charge would be worh of buying. With 120W charger I can charge my phone (Xiaomi 11T Pro) in 17 minutes, but to charge this radar with a tiny battery takes ages...

Price point seems high. I think it should $299 and that’s if it works properly.
