Varia 315 and 830 auto on/off with start

When I turn my 830 on I assume the 315 would turn on as well but it's not. I see a year ago this was a issue but surely Garmin must have did a fix by now. My front and rear Bontager lights work as soon as I hit start so that's a good thing. Am I missing something or is Garmin?

Make sure the radar is configured as both radar and light network.

I did both but still no good. The 315 will shut off when 830 shuts off but does not turn on like lights do.

There's a setting regarding having the radar and light turn on only when you start the timer for your ride. Double check that that is set to how you want it to operate.
