Battery Level indicator - Varia Radar RTL 510

Hi All,

I use the light battery field on my Edge 830 to monitor the battery level of the Varia unit, thanks to @gplama. It's a 5-bar field which (obviously) decreases over time.

It was posted in the Edge830 forum that the battery indicators for the Di2 battery field isn't 20% per segment as you'd expect. Instead, it's like this:

Battery % Status # of bars
0-10 Critical 1
11-25 Low 2
26-50 OK 3
51-90 Good 4
91-100 New 5

Does anyone know if this is the same for this light field, or is it 20% per segment?

    Only the Di2 uses non-linear banding for battery % mapping.

    For BLE sensors that report battery status as a % then each bar is 20%.

    For ANT+ sensors they use the above Status mapping, but this does not equate to the % shown in the above table . What each status maps to in terms of battery life is controlled by the sensor manufacturer. They just pass the code/status and the status is mapped to a number of bars.
