Alert tones via Garmin Edge -> Garmin Connect connected phone's headphones

My setup:

Garmin Edge 530
Varia RVR315
Garmin Connect on iPhone
TWS headphones

I receive navigation turn-by-turn directions, lap summary, but NOT the radar alerts.

Please add this really useful safety feature.

For now, you need to use the Varia smartphone app to hear the alerts with your headphones. Agree that not having to use the app would be a big improvement.

Yep, it's just that I have my phone locked, with display turned off in my back pocket. And the app doesn't work for me in this scenario.

That's strange. I use it like that all the time. Phone locked, in my back pocket. I usually listen to music as well and the alerts come through without issue. I'm using an iPhone.
