the case (or body) of my ut800 fell apart.

as the subject line states, the rear part of my light fell off while I was taking it off the bike... what can I do to fix it and make this water tight again?

Hey Kyle,

I just had this happen to me as well. The thing just fell apart in my hand, and it doesn't push back on very well. I'd rather not just gob Gorilla glue on there.

You find anything that worked well for this?

the only thing I was comfortable using was electrical tape...it seems to work alright....

I suppose I'll do the same.
It's a shame. I bought the UT800 because the metal case seemed so bullet-proof.

agreed, it looks like an interference fit with an o-ring. probably hard to keep tight tolorances in manufacturing. which leads me to believe that this is a miner nuisance problem. I still like the light and will probably replace with the same thing at some point.

Yeah, I've been happy with mine too. I've been abusing it for a few years now through all sorts of Ontario weather, either that or it's getting mashed around in the bottom of my bag when it's not in use. I would also buy the same again.
