Varia not charging. Light solid red. Software version 3.70

My Varia isn't charging.  I have tried to charge from the wall outlet and USB.  It is running the software 3.70.  Any ideas?

    I have the opposite - it’s charging but I get no green flashing light.  I also get no connection to PC; I have tried multiple cables including garmin branded ones.  I’ve cleaned the USB contacts.  No idea what else to try.  Ideally I’d like to reapply 3.7 but don’t believe I can do this from the edge.

    Mine will charge, connects to my Mac and the green light flashes when charging but I get seemingly occasional red flashes mixed in the constant green flashing while charging. If functions fine though. Varia 510.
