How well does the 315/515 detect other cyclists and eBikes?

Thinking about purchasing the RVR315.

My routes are mostly long MUPs and a few connector miles on the road.

I actually don't have a problem with the road/cars. My issue is with the proliferation of eBikes and that most of the eBikers in my area obviously have not been on a bike in many, many years. No helmets, riding on the wrong side of the paths, no warning when passing, etc.

Anyways, how well do the latest Varias detect eBikes and cyclists? I'm leaning towards the 315 as I don't need the light on the MUPs.

I don't have any experience with the latest 315/515, so I am not sure if it will be of any help, but the previous model (510) detects incomming bikes very reliably, just like cars.

If the difference in speed is big enough, the 315 detects bikes very accurately.

I don't trust it , but it helps
