I do rowing sports on natural lakes. Since you are moving backwards while rowing, observing your path for other swimming objects is important. A radar system like Varia seems an interesting solution. Has anyone already experince with Varia at rowing?
How high must the Varia unit be mounted above the water surface?
Is Varia able to detect for other swimming objects like wooden logs?
Can plastic and wooden boats also be detected?
A white light (no flashing) is required.
