Varia 510 audio alert edge 130

I have the edge 130 and the Varia 510. I can’t hear any audio alert when traffic approaches. Does anyone know how to make alert tone louder. Tried numerous settings adjustments to no avail.

Varia app. Use your phone volume. I ride with my phone in rear jersey pocket. If you must, a clip on external speaker can be used. Some get alerts synced to hearing aids.

The Varia 510 does not connect to a phone. Only the newer 515 connects.

This is fact. I have a 315 connecting with an Edge 130. Works as Garmin says with low volume alerts that easily get drowned out on the edge 130.
