Rtl 515 and ut800 Do not bild a light network.

The same thing happened to me today - lights worked and radar disconnected.. enable/disable sensors in the computer menu - randomly and have your fingers crossed... 

Like a lottery indeed :-P

You will definitely want to keep both the UT800 and RTL515 in sleep mode, i.e., blinking blue light.  I've had my UT800 like that for weeks and battery was still fresh when I needed it.   

The problem started for me with the latest firmware on the 830 . I reported it on the 830 forum but nothing. 

The most recent firmware updates for the Edge seems to have introduced lots of problems that weren't in older versions or even any of the betas I tried. 

Hopefully,  eventually,  Garmin may fix it and introduce some new problems

515 firmware update today. I thought they would have fixed this.. but nope.. I’m back to square one.

spending 30 mins to get the lights working has become part of my biking warm up routine now.. 

 same after the update no more light network

My network get lost in Standby mode.....but, hey, sometimes i have a network altough the Symbol for lights is still blinking.

I get an idea why so many People prefer wahoo!

Another one that adds to this BIG failure, it is a true madness ...
Edge1030 + RTL 515 + UT 800

Same inconsistent Forming Network issues with 830 - RTL510 - UT800

Same problem as all above. Worked once, never again. RTL515, UT800 and 1030+. Requested help from Garmin support. 

same issue, no solution, raised an email with Garmin support. lets see if I get a response, did anyone else get a response?
