Garmin Varia Radar datafield

This data field was previously sent to the Garmin App Store for approval. However, despite it getting Garmin's attention being an innovative data field and "first they've seen". It was. not approved and the provided answer was that it featured a "vehicle tracking" function (which is basically what the Radar is doing) that is not allowed.

I was told however that I am free to distribute the data field / Use it personally via "side loading".

@ihsangin you can find a link of the PRG file which you can use to side load to your F3. Just connect your watch to your Mac/pc and navigate to the \\GARMIN\\APPS directory. You should see a bunch of PRG files there then you'll know you're in the right place. Then just setup the field as per normal. Let me know if you have issues. [ NOTE: it's a time limited demo]

Is it a demo version only for the Fenix3? Tried it on my Epix and onla got an IQ! issue shown on the display.

Yes. ONLY the Fenix3. The Epix... I think I stopped supporting that watch due to some inconsistency in the SDK for that watch. it's a Great watch w/ LOTS of memory for CIQ DataFields IIRC.

Let me check if I have it. Since the 920xt is supported.

volker Updated the link to include the EPIX. Not sure if it will work as I really did not test this AT ALL. (likely may not work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Has this project stopped? Would love to have it in my Epix 2 so I can use the run activity with the radar.
