How to mount on a TT seat post

I have recently purchased the RTL515 (very happy so far) but the mounts and elastic bands don't fit on my Argon 18 E117, pictured here: https://www.slanecycles.com/bmz_cache/1/1c45a36983d70078c236fd86c08a9785.image.750x500.jpg

I have a work around using a zip wire (not tested on the road yet) but is there a better solution?

I have mine mounted on a Specialized Shiv with a similar seat post. Basically that I did was to use the supplied rubber adapter (even if it doesn't fit perfectly it kinda works alright) and daisy chained…

Thanks for the suggestion but not for me as my saddle is an ISM on my TT bike and it has the overhang at the back for hanging on racks when racing.

I did see a suggestion on another thread to join the 2 elastic bands so will give that a go.

I have mine mounted on a Specialized Shiv with a similar seat post. Basically that I did was to use the supplied rubber adapter (even if it doesn't fit perfectly it kinda works alright) and daisy chained a few of the supplied rubber bands / o-rings together. Works fine but just to be sure I glued a lens cap keep to the Varia unit and wrap the leash around my seat post (rubber tends to get brittle over time).

Mounting the Varia on the saddle rails is not really an option, since that is where my bottles go.
