Varia RDU pairing new tail light

My first taillight died. Bought the RTL 510. Can’t get to pair with the RDU. Reset the RDU multiple times.

    I bought a renewed RDU+RTL 510 set for my dad's birthday. They didn't come paired and do not appear to want to pair. Too bad Garmin no longer has an RDU option for those people who don't want to buy a head unit or a cell phone mount just to use the radar. E.g. my Dad's Trek E-bike has a Bosch head unit integrated with the bike, so he just needs an RDU + RTL, but no buneo.
