Use the RTL 510 and UT 800 in Germany

Is it possible to use the RTL 510 and the UT 800 in a way that is compliant with Germany's StVZO? I know that both lights are not allowed, but at least for the rear light there exists the RTL 511 which should be mostly the same device.

So is it possible to lower the intensity and the blinking as long as I'm in Germany? I'm using an Edge 530, but I didn't find an option to switch of the blinking of the rear light when the radar detects a vehicle. Any ideas? Maybe a firmware modification?

Living in the French German border, I bike a lot in Germany. Never had a problem with not being complaint with German's bike light legislation.
Though I would love to have a mode where it doesnt blink…

Though I would love to have a mode where it doesnt blink, not only for Germany but when biking in a group. The blinking mode when a vehicle is detected leave all my mates blind behind.
