RTL510 as a light?

Hi, I just got a new unit (firmware 3.50). The radar works great, but I have not been able to pair it as a light on my Edge 1030 (firmware 7.50). It doesn't find any Light sensor.

This forum suggests that there's something called "Light Network". How do I connect to it?

Separately, my Edge 1030 shows "Radar Disconnected" when I cycle through to the 4th light mode where the light is off but the blue LED is still blinking. Is that expected? Shouldn't it put the unit in radar-only mode?

Sounds like it was not paired correctly. When pairing did you do a Search All on the 1030. Reread the manual for the 510.

Yes, thanks. I didn't know that you can pair the light after the fact by pressing power button for 2 seconds. It's working now.
