Re-post since Garmin Support/Dev never responded to my previous post.
There are threads from 2014 where users pointed out that only native data fields can be used in display screens in the Varia Vision. Four + years later and that still seems to be the case. Does Garmin have any plans to address this limitation? The Varia Vision is a beautifully made piece of gear, but it's very expensive and not being able to use all the innovative stuff the ConnectIQ developer community does is, well, pretty weak. Not sure I would have laid down the money for the Varia Vision had I understood that limitation, and I can't be the only one that thinks that.
