10 O'clock Displayed on Edge 520 with Varia 510 Taillight

Over the past few rides with my Varia 510 taillight connected to my Edge 520, I'm getting an occasional 10 O'clock with a clock displayed on the screen for about 15 seconds. Is this for cross traffic or something else?
