Varia Vision pairing issue with Edge 1030

I am having trouble connecting my Varia Vision with my Bontrager Edge 1030. When attempting to connect, the Edge 1030 is trying to connect, and the Vision is trying, but neither end up pairing. I have tried multiple times to pair, adding the unit, removing the unit, resetting the Edge and the Varia, and nothing seems to work. Edge 1030 is running firmware 6.30, and the Varia Vision is running firmware 3.60. Both are showing the latest firmware according to Garmin. The Vision pairs with my Edge 520 with no problems, and pairs with my wife's Edge 1000 as well. What else are people doing to get the units to connect to each other?

Thanks for the details fuel9.8rider. We have reported this issue to the team and plan to get this fixed in the next software update.

My wife got me a Vision for the Holidays...I actually ended up liking it alot...but noticed several shutdowns on my 1030 as I was riding...I was able to get it to pair but something is causing it to shut down.
