Audio Alert via Garmin Connect

As the audio bleep on my Edge is not very loud I thought I would explore the audio alert function on the Garmin Connect app. As far as I can tell the audio alert replays lap info and navigation alerts but not radar warnings. Did I miss an option to relay the Varia info? (Head unit is an Explore)

With battery left (in hour) and number of cars that have doubled me, next step : audio alert on the phone ; that part will need an android app i think, we'll see

If you're hearing impaired then I think you can configure the mobile app for a vibration alert. Or if you also have a Garmin watch you can connect the Varia radar sensor to that and it will vibrate on your wrist.
