Limit the brightness of UT800 via Edge 1030

I am finding that the light barely lasts 90 minutes (closer to about 70 minutes) because it seems to default to high when I control it via my Edge 1030. I would like to be able to limit the maximum brightness of the UT800 to medium as I need the 3-hour runtime. Can this be done or would I need it added to a wish list? I am finding this light is useless for commuting the way I am using it now, and I only got it because of the Edge 1030 integration.

I agree with you. There are some settings on 1030, but those are really hit and a miss, especially when riding.

62 minutes tops for me with UT800. I carry a spare power light in my jersey pocket for when this dies. That light cost me $60 and whilst it doesn't integrate with edge, it lasts for 3 hours. So...
