Varia Vision will not work after Edge 1030 update to v3.90

Varia Vision no longer works after 3.90.

Basically Data Fields on Varia Vision are completely messed up. It has been reported to Garmin over a month now and NOTHING.

Useless Garmin!!!!!!!!

For me it worked for a few days, now the fields are messed up too :( Temperature is also wrong, Edge is set to Celsius, Varia Vision keeps Fahrenheit ....

If you have another device that will interface with the Vision you can set the data fields then transfer the fit file to your Edge 1030 not the best work around but at least I have the data fields that I want on the 1030.

Thanks bloom34, I have been experiencing the same issues and I have just tried your suggestion....it appears to be working as I have tested at my desk and the screens on the Varia Vision are exactly as they were non my old device ...and the Edge 1030 is reporting the correct screens plus the Measuring units are in sync across the edge 1030 and Varia vision. So you seems to have found a great interim solution! Garmin should be thanking you!!!

Tried this on a 50km spin yesterday, the screens were there but no data displayed. Even the temperature was just blank dashes. SO looks like its back to the drawing board and no doubt have to wait on Garmin sorting this issue.

It will be in the Garmin\HMD folder

Thanks, that worked great. Will be glad when some of these issues get taken care of, but at least this is a good work around for now.

Same no data displayed, how was this not even tested on the flagship Edge device? Works perfectly on my Fenix

First outside ride and first ride with vision and NOTHING!!! No data from 1030. What is the latest on a fix? ANYONE??

Fixed issues with the Varia Vision data screen setup causing the Edge and Varia vision to be out of sync.
