Models TL 300 & RTL 500 have flashing modes. Models TL 301 & RTL 501 do not have a flashing modes because they are sold in countries that do not allow flashing lights.
The units have unique part numbers. The support for flashing will not enabled by the software based on the part number. You cannot change the part number.
Flashing mode isn't dependent on locale ... it's dependent on model number.
Do you have a x01 or x00 model?
If you have a x01 model, you won't be able to get flashing mode. If you have x00, then it's configured wrong or defective. (replace the x with 5 or 3, depending on if you have the radar model or not).
As a side note, anyone know why some countries don't allow flashing tail lights? IMO, they are much safer since you would be more visible.
What would be really helpful in my opinion is the ability to set the default mode to whatever you choose (i.e. flashing in daylight) rather than the default Auto. I can't see that his isn't something that can be fixed in a firmware release. Works fine for the UT800.
