I rode my 935 and noticed after starting the course, the radar showed connected, but never displayed alerts. Anyone experience this issue? If not, I'll call Garmin next week.
Spoke with Garmin and said it should work. I tried it again and the Varia will not display any alerts in the Navigate Activity.......hopefully Garmin will change soon.
maybe this helps: on my Fenix 5x i tried varia radar first with the activity "Sonstiges" (in en misc or so) - this is my main activity. The fenix doesn't show any radar information. After i used a bike activity the radar information was shown. I think it depends on the selected activity if radar information is available or not.
Sorry just saw this. Same happened to me. Sure they will add to future firmware update. No reason to use navigate if it doesn't show the radar that your have from Garmin. thanks
I tried it with my units today and it worked when following a course and navigating to a location. Is the activity profile you are using a non-cycling sport one?
I think you will need to try resetting the watch. If you would like instructions on how to backup your settings, reset the watch and restore your settings then just let me know.
