I already have a Varia, and would like to add the RDU 500. I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them though - just the combo package with the taillight/head unit. Is the RDU not sold separately?
Was told by a couple people at Garmin that they don't sell them seperately and that if the display unit didn't come prepacked with the radar it can't be linked. IE you can't buy one from someone who isn't using the display and sync it with your radar. Really a pretty big shortcoming if you ask me. I ended up having to sell my radar light and buy a whole new bundle. I even asked what would happen if I had the bundle and lost the display or it was broken, Garmin's response was, I would have to either buy a whole new bundle or a new compatible cycling computer to use as the display.
