On a recent ride my Vision crashed - it wouldn't come on even when fully charged. I held down the ON button, but nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I tried different charging options, thinking that the issue was a bad charger.
Unfortunately I was on a multi-day trip and didn't have access to a computer with Garmin Express on it.
I thought my unit had crapped out and needed to be returned to Kansas for service.
Once I got home, I plugged into the computer with Garmin Express and not only was it recognized, but the computer and unit were happy to update the firmware to 3.40 (while they were at it).
so far (1 ride) absolutely no issues. So I'm pretty happy.
I wanted to log this on the forum so that others would know not to panic (or spend a half hour on the phone trying to sort with Garmin) - see if plugging into the computer will help.
it certainly did for me.
