My Varia RTL won't eject from my Mac. Actually, it won't stay ejected. When I eject the Varia, the Garmin icon on the desktop disappears for a few seconds, but then reappears. I have tried ejecting from both the desktop icon and the sidebar, and get them same result. This does not happen with my Edge 1000 - which ejects cleanly and does not reappear. Anyone using a Mac that has this same issue?

I don't have the RTL (yet), but I see this phenomenon with some Garmin devices. My Nüvi 2595 does it. So does my Vivoactive HR. Like yours, my Edge 1000 does not.
I do not believe it is a MAC issue. The device is trying to reconnect after ejection.

Are you using a Mac or PC? If I am quick enough, I can pull the re-charge cord - takes about 3-4 tries.
