For those who want to mount to the back of a saddle bag, I devised a really simple way to do this. I cut a thin strip of aluminum 3x3/4”. Then I removed the two screws that hold the Varia mount to…
Here's a very simple option if you want to mount your Varia RTL510 to the luggage loop on your saddlebag.
Mounting the unit to the seat post is not an option for me because my seat post is completely…
I wanted to mount my Varia RTL510 to the saddlebag. It's a standard Medium Topeak bag. I decided to laser cut two identical pieces of acrylic and use those in combnation with the Garmin twist mount from…
I have a GoPro and my Varia that I wanted to mount on each of my bikes. I have the Topeak bag with fixer 25 on each bike that
i do not remove as they are packed with different tube sizes. The fixer mount takes space up on the rails. I am purchasing some parts to assemble my own mount on each of the bikes. These are the parts i will be picking up:
Rail bow mounts depending on how much space you have on the rails and how high up the rails you need to attach the mount you will need to pick up one of these two:
The Garmin quarter turn part is removable and you end up with a "GoPro" style mount.
One of these mounts is aluminum the other is plastic. I'd prefer the aluminum but one of my saddles cant take the narrower mount so I have to use the plastic one.
The rest of the pieces are aluminum.
Depending on how deep the mount is under the saddle you will need to bring it out beyond the bag and use one of these:
According to my measurements I will need a 6cm one on one bike and a 10 cm on another.
All of these are using "GoPro" style mounts.
Next piece is a dual mount. Attach it to the extension with a thumbscrew so you can flip your dual mount up when you need to get into your bag.

Then you take the quarter turn mount that came of the first piece and attach to one of the sides of the dual mount piece, I will also attach a GoPro cage with a regular screw and will remove the camera out of it when need to.
And voila: GoPro and Varia mount side by side with a saddle bag.
I also have a GoPro case with a regular screw under my Garmin on the front
I will be using regular screws with Locktite everywhere except for the connection between the extension and the dual mount so i can flip it up easily to access the bag..
No drilling no destroying anything involved. Easily removes and attached to any other bike or with any other saddle bag. If your bag has straps instead of the fixer 25 mount it will be even easier.
Just ordered all of the parts Pictures coming soon. - Pictures posted in the reply bellow

I found success using black zip ties to attach the standard mount to the fabric loop on my saddle bag. It's very secure, looks invisible, and cost only a few dollars. One zip tie looped through the hole on each side of the mount, which also ensures stability, and added a third tie through one of the loops as a backup for good measure.
I needed to add two more bottles somewhere on the bike, I didn't wanted to drill holes into CF forks so not much options left, attach to seat. But I wanted to keep the radar there as well, but I need a smaller saddle bag as well for hygiene stuff when I am on long gravel rides out far.
3d printers getting more popular and cheaper...
This is 3 Liter of liquid in the mounted bottles but at my last 81 Km ride I drink 4.6 liters. Now the frame bag can fit an extra 3 liters camelback bladder as well if needed.
Ok, it’s done.
i added another small extension to the GoPro

bigHUN Did you 3D print that?
It's not a 3d print, doesn't look like it
Actually it does look 3D printed with the definite layering effect
